On Monday: Never Enough: The Neuroscience and Experience of Addiction

Author and professor Judith Grisel, Ph.D. is very busy these days, traveling across the U.S., talking to audiences about her own tortured past when she was chasing one high after another. Grisel’s new book, Never Enough, sends a message of hope.

On Monday, September 30 at 7:30pm, the author will discuss what is different about the brains of addicts, what takes place in the brain and behavior that results from chronic using. Grisel will describe what drove her to addiction, what helped her recover, and her belief that a “cure” for addiction will not be found in our individual brains but in the way we interact with our communities.
