You could be swinging on a star…

And here’s a little push for you!
Join us at Radnor Memorial Library on Friday, September 7 for Swinging on a Star, a 1940’s themed party celebrating RML’s past and future. The evening will feature nine-piece swing band, Jerry Costanzo & his Gotham City Swingers, swing dancing, and fun with all of your Radnor friends.

Enjoy open bar and small bites as you shop the silent auction featuring items such as a Cooking Class at Wayne Art Center, Villanova Wildcats Men’s Basketball tickets, and a booktalk led by local author Catherine Murdock.

Your best 1940s attire is encouraged.

Tickets are $75 a piece and are selling fast – get yours today! This is a 21&up event.

Can’t attend? Buy your ticket for the Fill the Shelves raffle. For a gift of $100, choose three new, librarian-selected books to be added to our collection with a personalized nameplate. Each $100 gift enters you into a drawing to win a hand-colored lithographed 1908 Pennsylvania Railroad map of Wayne and St. David’s framed to museum specifications, valued at $1,000. Only 100 chances available.

I hope to see you there!
