Celebrate Women’s History Month with us!

WHEN YOU THINK OF WOMEN’S HISTORY IN PENNSYLVANIA, WHAT COMES TO MIND?

Robyn S. Young Poster

Please join Radnor Memorial Library and Radnor Historical Society on Wednesday evening, March 14th at 7:30 PM at our temporary space (RML REcollection) at 167 W. Lancaster Avenue in Wayne, when we’ll introduce you to Robyn S. Young, author of Women in Penn’s Woods: A History of Women in Pennsylvania. Through Robyn’s efforts, you’ll also be introduced (sort of) to 175 women who made a difference in Pennsylvania’s history.

Known as the “Marker Lady,” Young has received approval from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission for 18 roadside historical markers throughout the state. Come and find out how they were paid for!

The author received the Publication in Preservation Award for her book from the Heritage Commission of Delaware County. Books will be available for purchase.

I hope to see you there,

Pam
