Podcast for Stoneleigh: A Natural Garden

A huge crowd last night for Stoneleigh: A Natural Garden at Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens. Many thanks to Tom Ellis (Radnor Historical Society) for recording this event.

Radnor Library invited Jenkins, Radnor Conservancy and Radnor Historical Society to partner with us for Ethan Kauffman’s sneak preview for Natural Lands’ stately addition to their long list of preserves in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Left to right, Ethan Kauffman, Director of Stoneleigh, Nancy Fischer, Radnor Historical Society, Gretchen Groebel, Radnor Conservancy, Pam Sedor, Radnor Memorial Library, Dr. Harold Sweetman, Director of Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens on October 25, 2017 to welcome Natural Lands to the Main Line!

Many thanks to everyone who attended, especially those 40+ who stood in the lobby because we ran out of chairs…although we did have plenty of spiced wafers and cider!

I am so proud that we were out in full force to let Natural Lands know how much we appreciate all their efforts to preserve Stoneleigh. Ethan said they will open to the public on Mother’s Day, 2018.

Here you go…enjoy!

Natural Lands, you rock! This was taken in June, 2017, working my way through the list of preserves. Pretty sure this one is Mariton, near Easton, PA.
