Engaged. Informed. Inspired.

That’s what I have to say about the 2015 Wild Summer Conservation Film Series in Wayne.

We enjoyed 4 excellent award-winning films made possible by the Jackson Hole Conservation Film Festival at a very conservative price– and we are grateful to them for that. The films were made by a diverse group of conservation filmmakers who, with their art form, engaged us, informed us, and inspired us all summer long.

Radnor Library and its partners, Radnor Conservancy, Radnor Bird Town, and Radnor Township’s EAC wish to thank all of you who shared your Wednesday evenings with us. Again, we were so lucky to get donations of milkweed, Joe Pye Weed, and Clustered Mountain Mint from three great civic-minded plant growers: Jenkins Arboretum, North Creek Nurseries, and Mostardi Nursery. We had a drawing after every film and gave away Doug Tallamy’s books. Thanks, Kathleen. I must add my special appreciation for Phil and Bonnie Witmer and their computer that saved the evening! Whew. That was close.

Radnor Township and its neighbors will attract more bees, butterflies, and other winged creatures because of what we all planted.

Let’s bee bold and continue to take action… starting with our own backyards.
