Mike Chitwood to visit Radnor Memorial Library on Monday, October 13, 7:30pm

Mike Chitwood was scheduled to visit Radnor Library tonight, September 30. Because Chief Chitwood had a scheduling conflict, we had to switch to Monday, October 13, 7:30pm.

Upper Darby Township Superintendent of Police Michael J. Chitwood, is the subject of the new book, Tough Cop: Mike Chitwood vs. the “Scumbags,” by Harold I. Gullan. He began his career in law enforcement over forty years ago, initially serving with the Philadelphia Police Department as a patrol officer, and then a detective in the prestigious Homicide Division. Chitwood was named Superintendent of Police of the Upper Darby Township Police Department in 2005. He is the recipient of a multitude of awards which recognize him for his community service, leadership, and commitment to public safety.

And it seems Chief Chitwood is always on the 11:00 network news. I can’t wait to meet him!

Books will be available for purchase.

See you at the Library,
