Using Color in the Garden

So what do art and horticulture have in common?

Radnor Memorial Library and The Community Garden Club at Wayne invite you to an evening of inspiring ideas that you can put to use this spring. Registration is not required and refreshments will be served.

We hope to see you on Thursday, March 6, @ 6:30pm in the Winsor Room when Amanda Condict will talk with us about using color in our gardens.

Amanda is an artist and designer who teaches in the fashion department at Albright College in Reading. She also teaches at Yocum Institute for Education in Wyomissing.

Amanda says:

I use plants to create an artwork, considering color, shape and texture, pretty much as I do when painting on canvas.

We are sorry to report that Michael Petrie, the scheduled guest speaker for Thursday night, is ill. Hopefully, Michael will visit us in the future when he gets his good health back. And this is the week of The Philadelphia Flower Show …oh, dear. Get well soon, Michael.

See you at the Library,

Garden Club at Wayne
