Marisa McClellan, author of Food in Jars: Preserving Small Batches Year-Round

 

Marisa McClellan is a food writer, canning teacher, and dedicated farmers’ market shopper who lives in Center City Philadelphia. The author has a new book coming out next month (Preserving by the Pint) and will then be on the road promoting it, so I was thrilled that she agreed to visit Radnor Library and do a small batch presentation …and share samples with us.

Marisa, the author of Food in Jars: Preserving Small Batches Year-Round,  will be in the Winsor Room on Tuesday, February 11 @ 7:00pm.

McClellan has a blog, Food in Jars, where she writes about canning, preserving, and delicious things made from scratch.

Marisa spends most of her days cooking up jams, fruit butters and pickles. Nothing like doing what you love for fun…and profit!
