Health, Happiness, and Beauty…inside and out

welliesIt should be safe to leave the house tonight. From where I sit, the sun is shining and not a snowflake in sight. But still…be careful.

So please put on your woolies and your wellies and come to the Library and hear Dr. Jingduan Yang, M.D., founder and Medical Director of the Tao Institute of Mind and Body Medicine.

Dr. Yang will present a two-part workshop on feeling great on the inside and outside. Tonight is part one at 7PM and next Tuesday, January 28, is part two. Mark your calendars so you won’t miss it.

Dr. Yang will delineate the relationship between beauty and health from a Chinese Medicine perspective and also explore the connection between various emotions and their impact on our physical health. The physician is a board-certified psychiatrist and expert on classic forms of Chinese Medicine. He uniquely incorporates Western Medicine, acupuncture, and traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine in the integrative care of his patients. Dr. Yang also practices medicine at the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

See you tonight at the Library,
