Singing the Great Conflict: Songs of the American Civil War

This live concert will be presented on Wednesday, June 19 @ 7:00pm on Wendy’s Porch at Radnor Memorial Library. Don’t miss it…

Solo artist Rick Spencer commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg with words and music of the songwriters of the day. Thank you to the Friends of Radnor Memorial Library for the generous funding of this event.

Spencer has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada and in Europe. The artist will perform songs that were popular during the Civil War and share historical information and commentary on the composers.

All ages are welcome. God willing the creeks won’t rise and we will not  have to move it indoors to the Winsor Room. Rick is coming all the way from Connecticut and the plan is to have him singing on Wendy’s Porch, half-under the stars over Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Many thanks to the Wayne Bed & Breakfast Inn for assisting with overnight accomodations for Mr. Spencer.

And again, Nolan Painting will be serving up the popcorn and lemonade. Thank you to those great folks, too.

I will bring the cookies and Studio 21 will record the event. Please bring yourself, your friends, and your family for this special evening at the Library.

See you at the Library,
