Author Event with Sally Bedell Smith–author of Elizabeth, the Queen

Radnor Memorial Library and Radnor Historical Society are proud to welcome home bestselling author of 6 biographies, Sally Bedell Smith. The author, a graduate of Radnor High School who was inducted into the School’s Hall of Fame in 2008, will talk about her new book at the Library on Tuesday, October 9 at 7:00pm.

Smith is the author of the new book Elizabeth the Queen: the Life of a Modern Monarch and has written about the Kennedy White House, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Diana, Princess of Wales, to name a few. In her new book, Smith draws on extensive research and interviews to portray Elizabeth II as both a monarch and a lively individual with a sense of humor. On the throne since she was twenty-five, the Queen has worked with twelve prime ministers and has weathered various personal storms in her sixty-year reign.

A contributing editor at Vanity Fair since 1996, Sally Bedell Smith previously worked at Time Magazine and The New York Times.

Books will be available for purchase. See you at the Library, Pam.
