First Friday Fine Films: THE HELP

On Friday, February 3, 1:30pm, Radnor Library will screen the 2011 film adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s best-selling novel of the same name, The Help.

Thanks again to the Friends of the Library who purchased the license to show all of the films here at Radnor Memorial Library!

Set in Mississippi during the 1960’s, Skeeter is a southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends’ lives–and a Mississippi town–upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families. Rated PG-13.

Refreshments will be served.

P.S. The malfunctioning new projector was replaced with another new one :).
