Congratulations to authors Stephen Fried and Michael Capuzzo!!!

Radnor loves your book, Stephen! We just heard that Stephen Fried won a literary award, non-fiction category,  for Appetite for America: How Visionary Businessman Fred Harvey Built a Railroad Hospitality Empire That Civilized The Wild West. The award is known as the Athenaeum of Philadelphia Literary Award.

Stephen was a hit back in November 2010 when the Radnor Historical Society and the Library invited him here to talk about the Fred Harvey biography. We have it as a podcast, in case you want to view it. Look for it at the Radnor Historical Society website.

Author Michael Capuzzo’s The Murder Room  was just optioned by CBS for a television series about the Vidocq Society, a group of forensic pros who get to the bottom of forgotten crimes.

Michael Capuzzo will visit the Radnor Memorial Library on Friday,  May 6, 7:30pm for a book talk and book signing.

I was just so thrilled to read the exciting news about the authors in the same column in Thursday’s Philadelphia Inquirer…

The Murder Room is always checked out and some Delco libraries have 2 copies of it. You can go online and reserve your copy now and read it before the book talk, or wait and purchase one when you meet him in May!
