Late night at the Library with Tad Friend

Well, okay, maybe 9pm isn’t really late. But we had so much fun it FELT like a night out on the town. Okay, so it’s a small town. But–it’s a small town with a lot of big hearts who came out to hear Tad Friend read from his book, Cheerful Money. Radnor Historical Society was our co-sponsor for this event and it sure was great to see everyone again. Thank you, Jim Heck and George Strimel from Studio 21, for recording this event. If you missed tonight’s book talk you can watch it on cable in the near future. My thanks to Library Trustee, Tom Glynn, for assisting in the production of this event and to Lynn Ellis, for collecting everyone’s cheerful money at the book sale table with Tad. Evie Giegerich brought still-warm cake from her oven…yum.  Cathy Siple you are such a dear for directing traffic (really), bringing cookies, and cleaning up!

Check out these pictures from tonight…
