Join us for an Earth Day celebration with Judy Wicks!

On Wednesday, April 21 at 7:30pm the Radnor Memorial Library and Radnor Conservancy invite you to meet fabled entrepreneur and activist Judy Wicks in the Winsor Room. Judy is the founder of Philadelphia’s 26-year-old White Dog Cafe and a national leader in the local, living economies movement. Our guest has won numerous awards, including the James Beard Foundation’s Humanitarian of the Year, Inc. Magazine’s 25 Favorite Entrepreneurs, and the Philadelphia Sustainability Award for Lifetime Achievement.

So… forget those dishes, drop that trowel, abandon your mulch pile, hang up the phone and turn it off, put down your book, leave your paperwork for another time and join us for an enchanting evening with a famous lady who was one of the first to participate in a local living economy that works in harmony with nature. Judy will tell her story of working cooperatively with others  to build whole economies based on love of nature and community.

We will serve refreshments and no registration is necessary. Just come!
