Performance of “From Out The Fiery Furnace” now just a click away!

Radnor Memorial Library celebrated Women’s History Month by presenting an original one-woman play written by Christine Emmert and performed by Barbara Hannevig. The play was directed by Emmert, along with Donna Samluk who was the assistant director and stage manager. This play was originally produced in September of 2009 by the National Park Service and we were fortunate to see it performed live in the Winsor Room on March 12. Our special guest, National Park Ranger Frances Delmar from Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site, introduced the play and later participated in a discussion about the history of the Hopewell Furnace and how the lives of women were forever changed because of it.

Videographer Tom Ellis from Radnor Historical Society was there to record this event for us. Thanks again, Tom!

Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
