AN EVENING WITH THE HONORABLE MARJORIE O. RENDELL

    Radnor Memorial Library and the League of Women Voters of Radnor Township, are proud to present an evening with The Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell, in recognition of Women’s History Month. Marjorie O. Rendell is a federal justice with the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Philadelphia and is a former First Lady of Pennsylvania. Rendell joined the court in 1997, after being nominated by President Bill Clinton. No registration required and open to all.

 Dr. Joan Capuzzi, VMD, is the author of Knack Puppies: A Complete Guide to Raising a Happy Puppy in a Positive Environment. Knack Puppies is a book about everything from selecting a puppy to such practicalities as healthcare, cost, and nutrition.

Jeannie has a master’s degree in landscape design from Columbia University and completed the Rutgers Master Gardener Program, and is an adjunct faculty member at Temple University. Dr. Mark Stearns, PhD, is the owner of Herbalishous, in Wayne. Dr. Stearns has spent 37 years working as a research scientist at Georgetown University, Fox Chase Cancer Center, and Hahnemann Hospital. Dr. Stearns will present a talk on herbal supplements that can often alleviate symptoms of certain health issues.

This meeting is timed for families with a student in junior year, however, there’s plenty of useful information for all levels of high school students. Dr. Joe Havlick is a certified professional school counselor in the Lower Merion School District and has primary responsibility for Harriton High School’s college and career fairs.
